Hackensack River Canoe & Kayak Club Founded in 1985, the Hackensack River Canoe & Kayak Club is celebrating its fourteenth anniversary with almost 200 members. The Club encourages the sports of canoeing & kayaking, is open to paddlers of any level of experience and would-be paddlers alike. You do not have to own a boat, and there is no age limit on membership The Club provides its members with a positive social experience. It also seeks to foster a spirit of respect and conservation toward our lakes and rivers. The Club's programs are varied and wide-ranging, from flatwater lakes to raging whitewater, from local day trips to week-long excursions out of state.
The Hunterdon Sailing Club was founded in March of 1964. The general objective of the club is to promote the sport of sailing, both recreational and competitive, and places much emphasis on water safety. To this end, the club sponsors training programs, scheduled races and special regattas designed to stimulate interest and enjoyment for both novice and veteran sailors. The clubs home waters is at Spruce Run Reservoir in Clinton NJ. They have a link to Spruce Run Reservoir.
The Garden State Canoe Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Longhill Township Public Library in Sterling, NJ. Their meetings start at 7:30 PM.

Round Valley Recreation Area is a great place to canoe, kayak, camp and fish. The brisk blue waters of Round Valley Reservoir attract swimmers, boaters, fishermen, picnickers and campers to its scenic shore. Round Valley is one of the few parks that offers wilderness camping. The campsites on the eastern side of the reservoir are accessible only by hiking or boating.
